With over 30 years of experience in the industry, there is not much that I have not dealt with...and yes that means I started when I was 5!
I have personally bought, sold, and rented residential and commercial properties as well as businesses. I have transacted over $3b over my career and to be honest, I know what I am doing.
My reputation within the industry is highly rated (please check out my Google reviews) and I gain a lot of my new business from referrals and repeat clients.
I only take on extra clients when I have the capacity. I will never take on business for the sake of taking on business. I need to be able to provide every one of my clients with the best property services available in Brisbane. I have always kept my overheads low so that I can pass on the savings to my clients. I do not have to charge the earth and I am frugal when it comes to asking for marketing costs. I keep my fee structure very simple.
I opened Harringtons Realty (opened in 2006) and by 2011 I had built my business to the point where I could purchase a franchise so of course, I purchased LJ Hooker in Bulimba.
I have managed rental properties in the UK and Australia, at one stage I was managing a team and we were looking after 700 properties. I have been involved in over $3 billion worth of transactions throughout my career.
I would like to understand exactly what kind of property services you are looking for as well as what type of property agent. I acknowledge that we all have different strengths and weaknesses. So sometimes we are a match and sometimes not but if I can understand your needs and wants, then I can make sure that I am the property professional for you or not.
Anyway, thanks for listening to my TED Talk
Kindly,
Tracie Harrington LREA
Harringtons Realty
If I am not working, then you will find me down at the gym trying to improve my fitness or in the kitchen cooking terrific rich meals - now you see why I need to go to the gym!
My son has just graduated from high school and will be studying Commercial Interior Design so I will be supporting him in his career journey. When my son was in grade 6 he suffered a head injury whilst playing touch football and it sidelined him for over 2 years.
Having a child with a brain injury is something that I do not want anyone to have to deal with. Joe was a different child - it was like he had dementia. He could not remember family members, friends, etc. He had to be reintroduced to people, they had to show him around their houses again … it was shocking. This kid is made of strong stuff though and he worked hard to recover. We think that this is why he is so good at volleyball because each day he did rehabilitation that ensured that his fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination were improving.
We regularly participate in brain studies in Brisbane and we are pleased to be able to help those in the future recover more swiftly and not have to go through what we did.
