I am in talks with various government, council, and community housing groups trying to work out a way to provide our community with small homes, tiny homes, portable homes, and granny flats.
I am in the coal face of the "rental crisis" and it is crushing to speak with single Mums, older women, families etc who cannot find affordable accommodation.
I have a network of colleagues who can supply:
- investment funds
- portable 1-4 bedroom homes for property owners to purchase or rent
- portable 1-4 bedroom SDA homes
- portable 1-4 bedroom "off-grid" homes
I am looking for people and companies who have sites that they think one or more small homes would suit. I can facilitate the supply and installation of these homes. I can locate reliable tenants and facilitate the payment of rent.
Do you have a property with a large backyard? Do you have an investment property where think you could install a small portable home? Do you have a home that is sitting vacant? Do you have an acreage site with or without septic tanks? If so please click the button below.
I was speaking with a lady today (who has worked Centrelink for over 20 years) who said that she thinks that the next move will be to open the Show Grounds and allow people to live there in a tent city. We need to do all that we can to help these vulnerable families.
Brisbane is in a desperate rental situation and I cannot see it getting any better in the coming years so we have to find a solution.
